Arbor’s Portfolio Management System (PMS) is in use by funds of all sizes and complexities. For Emerging Hedge Fund Managers they often have more requirements than the established funds. We work with many platform providers for emerging managers, either through detailed integration or providing them with our system (See Appointed Representative).
Two ways for Emerging Managers to get access to Arbor’s PMS:
Direct Engagement – This is possible for funds that feel they have the resources to commit and want as much independence from their platform provider. Or they may have a platform provider that does not provide a system of Arbor’s capabilities. For more details see: PMS
Indirect Engagement – Often this is how Emerging Hedge Fund Managers interact with our platform. The Principal for the Appointed Representative will provide the whole ecosystem. The Principal will have full visibility of the manager, in return the manager gets a platform with a lot of the heavy lifting of running a fund removed. Transaction reporting, regulatory reporting, reconciliation, real time performance and exposure reporting, compliance, cash management etc all available, with a mobile interface to keep track of positions in the market.
